Arrangement of guide is alphabetical, except that nu-
meral streets and " E " and " W " numeral avenues follow in
numerical order a[...]as a locating point.
Numbering system of the city contemplates one hundred
building numbers to each full block, with odd numbers on
north and west sides of streets and even numbers on south
and east sides, as the case may be.
In general the city is laid out with the streets running
north and south, the avenues running east and west. However,
in the central business section and vicinity the streets run
from southeast to northwest and from southwest to northeast,
numbering of buildings being as if streets ran to north and
east respectively.
