Datemid-1890sSummaryIn the front row is Edith McKeowen. She moved from Chicago with a brief stay in Denver before moving to Creede, Colorado around 1897. In 1898, Edith married Thomas S. Jones, sheriff of Mineral County. To the right is her sister Laura McKeown. Laura was living with with Edith and Thomas in their home in 1900. She also taught school and later was superintentent of the Creede schools. In 1901 she married Harry Van Horn who later became superintendent of the Commodore Mine. The back row is husband and wife; Mary Cunningham and William "Will"; C. McKeown.
