Then came prohibition and near beer. After that the plant turned out ice cream. Now--more than a half century later-the wrecking crew is at work. At 10:30 A.M. Tuesday the historic landmark at Seventh and Water streets tumbled out of existence when a charge of dynamite was set off at.its base. The building was sold recently to a wrecking company by the English holding company which, has owned it in recent years.
