ConwaY Company who minted $10, $5 and $2.5(7 gold coins in Georgia Gulch in 1861. This was near Breckenridge, Dr. Mumey had Mr. Modesitt get in touch kith the State Historical Society and he gave the dies to the Society. In 1956 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Federal Mint, Dr. Mumey had 200 sets of the coins struck from the original dies.
