Summary
A Navajo woman identified as a member of the Black Sheep or DibA̋© LizhinA̋ (Deh-beh'klih-zin'ni ) clan, stands in the sand, probably in Canyon de Chelly, on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. She has her hair parted in the middle and pulled back and wears turquoise earrings. She has on a velvet blouse decorated with silver buttons, with a plaid, cotton, broomstick pleated skirt. She wears a turquoise necklace with a jaclaw, and boots. The sandstone walls of the canyon are in the distance.
