The quarry of the Colorado - Yule Marble Company is close to 9,400 foot elevation. 1909 is a good date. It can not be earlier because the “Kobey” store which is present came into existence in 1909, south side of Main Street on the east corner of Center Street. Can’t be mid-late 1911 because construction of the 2-story building for the Masonic Lodge is not present (State Street west of Center Street).
