The stone Greek Revival style building has fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, a low pitched, hipped roof with dentils, and the words "Erected in the Year of Our Lord Nineteen Hundred and Nine and Dedicated to the Advancement of Learning" carved along the frieze. Two men sit above the cornice. Construction debris is on the ground beside the building.
