Summary
William S. Jackson (1836-1919), former vice- president of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, poses with his hands on the shoulders of his son, Gardner Jackson, on a bridge over South Cheyenne Creek in South Cheyenne Canyon near Colorado Springs in El Paso County, Colorado. His daughter Helen, Edith C. Banfield (Aunt Kitty) and his son Roland stand beside him. His son William (1889-1981) sits on the bridge. Jackson's son Everett sits on a rock in South Cheyenne Creek. Possibly Edith, his sister sits on a rock beside him. Jackson wears a suit and has a white beard. Helen wears a dress and hat. The boys wear caps and suits with jackets, ties, short pants and long stockings. Mrs. Banfield wears a blouse and long skirt and a hat.
