Johnson residence, designed in the modern style by architect Burnham Hoyt, at 515 Race Street in Denver, Colorado. The bar has wood paneling, a metal pipe is mounted above the bar with vinyl hand rests. Built-in shelves behind the bar contain glasses decorated with geometric shapes, and bottles of liquor. An icebox is built into the wall. A painted sign posted at the bar reads: "Min Skal, Din Skal, Alla Vackra flickorsskal" (My toast, your toast, all beautiful girls toast.) A painted mural on the bar by Vance Kirkland depicts the stages of life from infancy to death and shows an ogre-like figure with a basket.
