Nelson holds a rifle pointed toward Black Heart, who in turn holds a war club in his raised right hand. Nelson has a full, gray beard and wears a wide-brimmed hat and buckskin coat with tassles. Black Heart wears a feather headdress and a breastplate, possibly made of bone.
