The house has a full-length brick gable on the left with a bay window, and the part of the house which extends to the right is of wood construction and has a porch on the front. The house has three chimneys. At the gate of a picket fence in front stand a woman in a round hat holding a small child and a girl in a large-brimmed hat holding a doll. There is a board sidewalk in front of the house, and and what appears to be a street light without its lighting fixture in the street, in front of the gable section. Further back on the right other wood constructions are seen, including a structure with a large double door, possibly for a carriage or horse. The side of the mountain is clearly visible behind, and includes mine tailings, mine entrances, and a white cross.Physical Description1 photonegative : glass|13 x 21 cm (5 x 8 in.)|1 photoprint |12 x 21 cm (4 3/4 x 8 in.)Born-Digital or AnalogAnalogSubjectGeorgetown (Colo.)--19th centuryFences--Colorado--Georgetown--19th centuryHouses--Colorado--Georgetown--19th centuryCollectionPhotographs - Western HistoryRelated MaterialImage File: ZZR710001105Type of MaterialGlass negativesPhotographic printsDigital Version Created FromRandallNotesFormerly F5210.
