The one-story storefront is topped by a cornice with a small sign at the corner that reads, "6th St.", and two large show windows flanking the entrance read "Forbes" and "Pharmacy." A sign that reads " Forbes' Pharmacy" is below the right window. Visible in the windows are large glass vessels, lamps, birdcages, and other merchandise. Over the door is a sign which reads, "Leis' dandelion tonic" and posted on both sides of the door is an assortment of photographs, stereograph cards, a large sign, and a pair of glasses with eyes. Three men in dark suits are in front|the man on the left wears a bowler hat and perches on a railing, the middle man wears a straw boater, and the man on the right, Mr. Forbes, wears a bowler hat. A sign under the left window in the passageway leading to the business below reads, "H. P. Bullis, Plumbing and Gas Fitting." To the left of the pharmacy is the entrance to the upper stories of the building, where there is a sign which reads "Doctor." Other pharmacy signs are posted on the side of the building.
