View of the newly constructed Gilpin County Court House and St. James' Methodist Church. In the foreground is the hipped roof of a house and behind it, a row of houses along the south side of Eureka Street. The foundation walls are three to four feet thick and twenty-six feet deep in back. The basement is of Fort Collins stone and is two feet thick; the building, itself, is of Golden brick.
