In foreground is the First National Bank building, a Victorian, brick structure, with the name of the bank painted on two of the window panes. The building has large, arched windows on the lower level and smaller, rectangular windows on the top level. A plaque above the window that is directly above the entrance reads: "First National Bank Block 1874." Nearby are telegraph posts, signs that read: "Idaho Springs," and "Telephone," a fire hydrant, and a parked car. The Teller House is up the street and across a road that separates the bank block. It is a Victorian, brick, four-story building with arched windows and an entrance on the lower level and rectangle-shaped windows with mantles. The building has three signs attached to it: "Chanomine's," an image of a telephone bell, and "Teller House Dining Room." A small one-story building stands up the street from the Teller House and "Office."
