The single-detached three-story building is a square building plan, with a medium gable (offset right), left and right rear chimneys (single stacks), and a shed dormer to the rear. First floor windows are semi-circular with a single sash divided into four panes. Arches (arcading) are set in front of the main entryway. Second floor windows are casement windows with a segmental opening. Keystones highlight the center of the window arches on the second floor windows, and three of the first floor windows. The north (facing) wall is of stone construction; the front facade of the building is brick. "The Toll Gate Saloon" is visible over the main entrance. Third floor has a deteriorating balcony in front of a door.
