Summary
Horse-drawn buggies are stopped in front of the McPhee Building (originally the Phelan Building) at the northeast corner of 17th (Seventeenth) and Glenarm streets in downtown Denver, Colorado. Striped awnings hang over windows on the building. Two bicycles lean against the front windows of the Backus Heating Company. The dental office of Dr. R.B. Weiser is on the second floor of the building and the Continental Oil Company general offices are on the sixth floor. A sign reads: "The Con. Gas Co. have removed to 17th St. Cor. Tremont." A fire hydrant and telephone pole are on the corner of the block; a street lamp is on the street corner in the foreground.
