Striped awnings hang over windows on the building. Two bicycles lean against the front windows of the Backus Heating Company. The dental office of Dr. R.B. Weiser is on the second floor of the building and the Continental Oil Company general offices are on the sixth floor. A sign reads: "The Con. Gas Co. have removed to 17th St. Cor. Tremont."
