Summary
Chinese men and women are in a room decorated with lanterns, filigree wall screens and tapestries in San Francisco (Marin County), California. Men and women play stringed instruments, cymbals and drums. Some men smoke pipes|others eat rice at a table. A server kneels on the floor with trays of teapots and cups. The men have queues (braids) and wear quings (hats), and robes. The women have long hair and decorative hair ornaments.
