Summary
Workers are beside flat cars stacked with railroad ties at the Union Pacific Railroad Burnetizing works in Omaha (Douglas County), Nebraska. Shows wooden buildings, tunnels and men in a rail yard where wooden ties are treated in zinc chloride to make them more durable. A steam engine is on tracks nearby. A man in a bow tie, a cap and a long overcoat, poses beside the track and leans on a switch lever.
