The union received a $5,000 legacy from the estate of the late Miss Florence Harris of Denver, but before any part of this could be employed for bond purchase the executive committee had to vote its approval. Approval was given, and L.M Montania, deputy state bond administrator, turned the bonds over to Nina Bear, W.C.T.U. treasure, and received a check in return, as shown here.
