Summary
A Native American (Paiute) woman breast-feeds a child, another child stands behind her, Kaibab Plateau, northern Arizona. She wears a fringed, buckskin dress with a beaded border and a twined basket hat. A cradleboard leans against a wikiup, a small hut of branches. Beside her is a pile of fur hides.
