Summary
People, horse-drawn coaches, and hearses crowd Eureka Street, Central City, Gilpin County, Colorado, in a procession honoring 14 gold miners drowned in the Sleepy Hollow and Americus Mine flood; pall bearers carry a coffin in the foreground. The Opera House and Saint James Methodist Church flank the parade; mine sheds are on Central Hill to the southeast.
