Summary
Native American Comanche pose at Quanah Parker's memorial inside a fence decorated with a wreath, Post Oak Mission Cemetery, near Cache, Oklahoma. They include: "from left to right: Tuas-ye-ah, Quannah [sic] Parker's grand daughter, Alberta Clark, and Tsatoke (Hunting Horse) former U.S. scout. Tsatoke wears a feather headdress and is wrapped in a blanket, the women wear buckskin dresses, and Tuas-ye-ah wears a long breech cloth, a hair pipe breastplate, and a fur cap with feathers. Inscription reads: "Resting Here Until Day Breaks And Shadows Fall And Darkness Disappears Is Quanah Parker Last Chief Of The Comanches Born 1852 Died Feb. 23 1911, This Monument Erected Under Act Of...? Approved June 23, 1926."
