Summary
The cavalry company of the Deputy Army militia, sent to suppress the Cripple Creek Strike of 1894, pose outdoors on horseback at Camp Boynton, Beaver Park, Teller County, Colorado. The mounted cavalrymen hold rifles and wear hats. Governor Davis H. Waite stands near a horse at the end of the line. A camp tent stands near the men.
