Summary
Three white men, (souvenir, relic hunters or traders ?) W. J. Winston, R. B. and H. B. Beers pose with Native American Sioux men, women, and children in a tepee camp, Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota. One of the white men wears a woman's beaded dress and holds, possibly, a war club, another may be wearing a Ghost Dance shirt and holds a tobacco pipe (calumet), a drums shows in front of him. Only a child looks at the camera, the rest of the Sioux look to the ground; one of the white men holds a Sioux baby girl.
