Title: "Photo taken after conclusion of 'Brunot Treaty'- 1863 [i. e. 1873]", and subject identification hand-written on album page. Additional information provided by user; location is in dispute: "Chamberlin did not go to Washington, D.C. this photograph was taken in Denver after the signing. Chipeta and Susan did not go to Washington in 1873 or 1874. This "Guero" cannot be Ouray's father because he died in 1850" [Beth Simmons]. On verso of album page: X-19252 and X-19253. Poem "The Growth of Denver Colorado A Pioneer's Scrapbook of Memories" presented by Mr. William Bishop, written and signed by Gertrude M. Weybrew accompanies album. Formerly F10362. ; R7100192515
