Empty plates, glasses, and silverware are on the table. The guests look toward the balcony, as if listening to a speech. Classical winged pegasuses, each with a figure of a man, are painted on opposite walls of the theater. A long, tricolored streamer with stars on it is draped across the top of the stage and along the sides of the room. A large American flag with a mason's symbol hangs above the stage, and two flags are on the back wall.
