Summary
The first prize entry in the Sunflower Carnival Parade, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, consists of a pony and buggy decorated with roses and peonies. Miss Crosby grins and wears a large white hat and loose hair; a boy with white facepaint wears a Pierrot hat and carries a standard with the words: "First Prize." Surreys carrying well dressed people and a float with a taxidermied bird in flight are in the background.
