A smooth but narrow carriage road winds down this canon for 2 3/4 miles, and descends 1800 feet. At the foot of the canon runs C̀€lear Creek,' which passes through Golden City after it leaves the mountains. Here, on the banks of this creek, are two excellent Bathing Houses, supplied by natural sulphur springs of 90 (degree) heat.; Photoprints are torn, soiled and stained.
