The building became a museum in 1964. Steps lead up to a platform in front of the entrance; signs read "Museum," and "Red Man Hall." An oval image of a Native American wearing a feather headress (war bonnet) is also on the building facade. A covered stairway is attached to the side of the building, and a flagpole is in front, near a tall evergreen. Smaller buildings are nearby, and the mountain is behind.Physical Description1 photonegative : black-and-white ; 7 x 12 cm (2 3/4 x 4 1/2 in.); 1 photoprint : black-and-white ; 8 x 14 cm (3 x 5 1/4 in.)Born-Digital or AnalogAnalogSubjectEmpire (Colo.)Fraternal organizations--Colorado--EmpireCollectionPhotographs - Western HistoryRelated MaterialImage File: ZZR710003327Type of MaterialFilm negativesBlack & white photographsPhotographic printsOriginal Material Found in CollectionWH906.
