Lettering reads: "Commemorative Diploma 1896 Leadville Crystal Carnival Exposition Leadville, Colorado, awarded to - for;" and signatures: "D. N. Dougan Chairman Committee on Awards; H. B. Hardt, Secretary Committee on Awards; and Tingley S. Wood, President and Director General."
