Call NumberX-1486Date1960-1980SummaryView of the facade of the Hotel de Paris, Georgetown, Colorado, on Sixth (6th, Alpine) Street. The hotel was built by the Frenchman Louis Dupuy between 1875 and 1890 from the Delmonico Bakery and two other buildings, which were joined by the stucco facade imitating masonry. Wrought iron filigree runs along the roofline and between the two stories; the roofline also has dentils. The tall windows and doors have elaborate lintels; a large sign near the roof reads, "Hotel de Paris.," and a smaller one over the central door reads "Louis Dupuy." There are three doors on the facade and one set of windows is slightly higher than the other two, indicating the three original parts of the building. Snow is on the sidewalk in front, and the mountain is behind.Physical Description1 photoprint ; 14 x 9 cm (5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.)Born-Digital or AnalogAnalogSubjectGeorgetown (Colo.)Hotels--Colorado--GeorgetownHotel de Paris (Georgetown, Colo.)Related MaterialImage File: ZZR710001486Type of MaterialFilm negativesPhotographic printsNotesPhotoprint is glued to portion of album page.
