This four story hip-gabled roof structure with dormers, wrap around open air porch, and faceted corner tower with bell roof was originally known as the Barker House, and was purchased in 1904 by Charles Pollen and renamed. A man in a bowler hat and sack coat is standing by its entrance, and just up the stone steps another man is standing on Manitou Avenue. Electric wires cross the image, and a dirt path and a lawn with a sprinkler running are in the foreground.Physical Description1 copy photonegative : black-and-white ; 10 x 13 cm (4 x 5 in.); 1 photoprint ; 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7 in.)Born-Digital or AnalogAnalogSubjectManitou Springs (Colo.)Hotels--Colorado--Manitou SpringsHotel Navajo (Manitou Springs, Colo.)Geographic AreaManitou Springs (Colo.)CollectionPhotographs - Western HistoryRelated MaterialImage File: ZZR710001634Type of MaterialFilm negativesPhotographic printsNotesFormerly F16093.
