The ushers of the Opera House, who are dressed in nineteenth century dress, walk along Eureka Street ringing bells to notify the crowd about the upcoming performance. The patrons are dressed in summer dresses, skirts, suits, and hats. The first story and one-half of the second story of the Teller House are visible. The windows and the entryways of the lower level of the Teller House are arched. Wrought iron gas lights are on opposite sides of the front door, and a gas light hangs over the door.
