Interior photograph of a bedroom at the Westminster Historical Museum, also known as the Bowles House, located in Westminster, Colorado. This room is a display of different clothing and textiles from the late 1890's and early 1900's. Two white dresses are placed on mannequins, some white delicates are hung near by with a quilt laying on a bed. This house is an example of 1870s residential vernacular architecture and for its association with Edward Bowles, a pioneer resident of the town now called Westminster. In his day the community was DeSpain Junction. The Italianate style building has a red sand brick exterior with matching mortar. It now houses the Westminster Historical Museum.
