Photograph of the intrerior of the Denver Tramway Company Streetcar #.04 parked near Commerce City, Colorado. The interior is full of wood planks and streetcar seats. Streetcar #.04 operated for 39 years, first on the Denver & Intermountain Railroad (D&IM) and finally on the Denver Tramway Company (DTC) electric streetcar system. The system provided public transportation within the Denver area and interurban service to Leyden and Golden. Car #.04 was the last electric streetcar operated in revenue service by the Tramway Co. before the end of the city's streetcar system in July 1950. Of the eight cars constructed by Denver's Woeber Car Company for the D&IM, only Car #.04 survives.
