Exterior photograph of the Grant Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church located in Denver, Colorado. The 1908 Grant Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, with its 1920 community center addition was the first Methodist congregation in the newly incorporated community of South Denver. The building functioned not only as a center for worship but also as a major community center for activities from sports to socials, particularly for the youth in the area. The original building with its addition is a good local example of Gothic Revival in an Arts & Craft mode by prominent Denver architect Harry J. Manning.
