meetings h^ve been held the third fednesday of each
Stress haa been out on the use of bomb shelters as protection in case of an alert. Schools would use the safest
area in its building or the "duck and cover". A tour of the
homes built by the Jack Horner Construction was completed in
November. Ir« Horner is the first Denver home builder to include a ..lis s i le-Age Shelter in his construction project.
In January the Civil Defence Chairman and Safety Chairman
combined meetings to hear a lecture on what should be included
in the Home Survivors Kit.
In January University Park n.T..^. made identification
tags available to the students. Letters were sent home with
each student stressing the need for ID tags. Each child was
to send for his own tag. Our P.T.A, will receive 15^ on the
our chase of each tag. V/e still do not have a final count a 3
to the number ourchased.
Future noatInge will include a field trio to the Colorado
Sorings Civil Defence Headquarters on March 16. All interested
oersons are welcome to join in this excursion.
