Summary	William S. Hildenbrand is the Executive Director of the Savio House at 325 King Street in the Barnum Neighborhood. The Savio House was built in 1910 by Architect William Norman Bowman and his wife Alice May. The house was originally built as a model home to attract Denver’s Elite to the area. Over the years the house has served not only as a residence, but also as a tuberculosis sanitarium and orphanage for boys. Today, the Savio House offers services that strengthen families and prevent child abuse, neglect and youth delinquency. Hildenbrand who has been with the Savio House since the late 70’s recalls the history and preservation of the house and organization.
