Harry Van Horn was the Superintendent of the Commodore Mine around 1900.On June 30, 1901, Laura McKeown and Harry Van Horn were married.They lived next door to Sheriff Thomas S. Jones and Edith McKeown Jones.Edith and Laura were sisters.Harry was a member of the Creede Town Council nad was a leader in the Masons.He and his family later relocated to Denver, Colorado after 1910.
