Title	Home of Absalom V. Hunter
Summary	Absalom V. Hunter was a vice president at the Carbonate National Bank in Leadville, Colorado. In this interior view of his home, from parlor to dining room, we see that both rooms are ornately furnished and decorated in Victorian style. An archway with heavy draperies hanging on a metal rod separates the two rooms. The parlor has a floral carpet, sofa and armless parlor chair with tapestry upholstery and fringe, and a square grand piano with carved legs, music stand and piano bench. A framed portrait of a women stands on a metal easel. There is also a side table with tasseled cloths, a figurine, a dish and a tall silver urn with figurines. Framed pictures hang on the wall and a photograph of a man sits on a bookshelf. A lamp with pleated shade and a vase with peacock feathers in it sits on top of the piano. In the dining room there is a silver coffee and tea set sitting on fringed doilies on a tall carved wood sideboard with a mirror and shelves filled with glass vases. The dining room also has a wood panel door with corner block paterae, picture molding, a wooden armchair, a chandelier, and a dining table with a fringed cloth.
