Summary
Members of Company K of the 87th Mountain Infantry crouch behind a tree on the slopes of Monte della Vedetta in Bologna Province, Italy. One of the men covers a distant house with his Browning automatic rifle. Captured German soldiers are near the house. The area has trees damaged by gunfire and holes created by heavy artillery.
