The frame museum, a replica of the Rio Grande Southern depot at Mancos has flared eaves, a square tower and a platform with wooden benches. Smoke rises from Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad (2-8-2) locomotives #497 and #498 with a consist of freight cars bound for Chama, New Mexico, as it passes the museum. Shows buildings and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the distance.
