Some of the women carry American flags. People watch from the Elliot House and Ennis House hotels; a sign is posted for "Pyle's Pearline." Also on the street are the American Hotel, the Dalgleish Photo Gallery, and the Cushman Block at the corner of Taos and Sixth (6th) Streets. American flags are displayed on both sides of the street.
