Summary	Interior view of the Bowman-White House in Georgetown, Colorado, at 901 Rose Street. The house was built in 1892 by John Henry Bowman, who arrived in Georgetown with his family in the 1880s. The house was passed on to his daughter, Mary Ellen (Mellie), and her husband John James White in 1901, and remained in the family until acquired by Historic Georgetown in 1974. A fluffy white dog with dark patches over his eyes and ears sits in a wood arm chair placed in the bay window of the library of the house. The bay also includes several potted plants, one in a wood pot that sits on a moorish-style table, and another, in a ceramic planter, on a small curved-leg table; ivy hangs from above. Behind the dog is a roll-top desk with a globe sitting on it; a desk chair sits before the desk and there is a window with a lace curtain behind it. In the right foreground is a glass bookcase filled with sets of books.
