Title	Central City, Colorado opera house
Summary	Image of the Central City Opera House, Central City, Colorado, taken from Eureka Street. The Opera House opened in March, 1878, and cost $22,000 to build. Robert S. Roeschlaub, a Denver architect was responsible for the architecture of many of the well-known buildings in Colorado. The structure was built of Gilpin County Granite, except for the top and sides. The building measures fifty-five by one hundred ten feet and could seat seven hundred fifty people. Half of the law office building of Henry M. Teller is pictured in the right part of the photograph. The law office is among one of the oldest buildings in the city.
