Summary
A fur trading expedition leaves the area near St. Louis, Missouri. Men on horseback ride beside horse-drawn and mule-drawn Conestoga wagons on the Oregon Trail. Shows horse-drawn surreys with canvas curtains, and scouts and mountain men in buckskins, on horseback ahead of the wagons. Log cabins and the Missouri River are in the distance.
