Summary	Exterior view of Glen Eyrie, near Manitou Springs, Colorado. This three story frame residence remodelled since first built in 1871 by General William Palmer, the founder of Colorado Springs and prominent Manitou citizen, has a gabled roof, a dormer, bay window, roof cresting, a porch and chimneys. A faceted tower with a flat top is a feature added about 1883. Trees flank the image, and rocky bluffs are in the background.
