"351. Belcher Mine near Silverton" handwritten on image in Collier collection of Western History Department, Denver Public Library.; "A tram ride on the longest tram now in operation in this section. The length is within a few feet of two miles. It runs between the mine and the Shenandoah Dives Mill. The buckets are 9 cu. ft. capacity and run on a suspension cable, 1 1/4 lock coil cable. 30 buckets on the line traveling 450 feet per minute deliver 20 tons of ore per hour. Driven by 25 horse power electric motor and has automatic electric brakes on motor and hand brakes on the bull wheel at the upper ; Negative has number "1" stenciled in upper corner.; terminal.
