Lion statues stand on both sides of the entrance to the Governor Flower Library in Watertown, New York, named for Roswell Pettybone Flower, governor of New York from 1892-94. Flower died in 1899, and the memorial library was built in 1903. A round fountain is in the foreground. Large columns stand in pairs along the front of the library. Stone benches line the walkway to the front steps.
