A large, round, stained-glass window stands between the two towers.; Two men walk on the sidewalk in front of the St. Francis Cathedral on Cathedral Place in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Trees with bare branches stand in rows lining the sidewalk into Cathedral Park. Two stone pillars mark the entrance to the park. The cathedral was built between 1869 and 1884 and was the first cathedral west of the Mississippi and north of Durango, Mexico.
